We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Program Managment, to join Last Mile Launch Execution, with a breadth of Amazon experience across different business units and pillars for an exciting role in the North America Launch & Expansion organization. The Senior Manager, Launch Manager, will play a critical role in the rapid network growth and expansion of Amazon's 1P delivery network.
Key job responsibilities
Lead a team of Launch Planning Managers responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of AMZL and RSR launches across North America's top metro areas.
Own the full launch portfolio, managing concurrent projects across multiple markets simultaneously, from market survey through launch handover.
Develop and maintain scalable planning mechanisms, reporting infrastructure, and milestone tracking systems to provide leadership with real-time visibility into launch health, risks, and progress.
Drive cross-functional alignment across Operations, Supply Chain, Real Estate, Pre-Construction & Construction, Tech Configuration, Launch Configuration, PXT/HR, and R2L teams.
Establish and continuously improve launch processes including permitting, integrated timelines, and stakeholder communication cadences.
Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation path for all launch-related issues across the program.
Partner with Finance and Capital Planning to steward a multi-year capex envelope, maintaining per-site cost discipline while meeting Amazon's quality and speed standards.
Represent the Launch Planning program in senior leadership reviews (WBR, MBR, QBR), providing comprehensive visibility into launch health and strategic risks.
This role requires travel (up to 50-60%).
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience delivering cross functional projects

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
