Join our innovative long-term capacity planning team where you'll shape the future of ultrafast delivery across North America. In this role, you'll optimize network capacity in support of our growing business, enabling faster delivery for our customers.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Design and implement long-term capacity models considering customer coverage, demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and cost efficiency
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance network capacity
  • Define long-term building requirements that consider future business initiatives
  • Plan for new automation initiatives that impact building design, capacity, and costs
  • Create data-driven analyses to support business decisions and growth strategies
  • Foster partnerships across teams to implement network improvements

A day in the life
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze network performance, develop capacity optimization models, and implement strategic improvements. You'll use data-driven insights to balance customer needs, operational efficiency, and growth opportunities while contributing to the evolution of our delivery capabilities.

Our collaborative team combines analytical expertise with creative problem-solving to build and optimize our network to ensure we have capacity for long-term customer demand. We partner closely with Retail, Finance, Real Estate, Tech, and Operations teams to create sustainable solutions that delight customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLook Ups) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
