Our Procurement team is a new organization being strongly customer centric-focused by living a transformational environment needed to meet our leadership principles by working hard, having fun and making history.

As a Site Procurement Manager for Fullfillment Center (FC), you will own the site’s procurement operation responsibilities, including procurement for the site for Directs and indirects (Products and Services), vendor management, , forecast needs, inventory management, purchase order management, site day to day activities, projects and monitoring vendor performance.

You will also lead supplier management KPI´s and metrics reporting, as well as develop and work with stakeholders to find and understand deviation and improvement areas. You will provide procurement leadership for the locations and alignment with building leadership team to drive efficiencies and improvements in the building.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Align with the Regional Procurement Manager to provide procurement operations for the building, including: forecasting of non-inventory services, supplier management, sourcing and negotiation, procurement transaction, projects of innovation and expediting support as needed.
  • Develop deep knowledge of services and categories.
  • Reporting to the local Site leader key milestones on a Weekly & Monthly basis about services performance and actions needed (service, experience, improvements, new projects).
  • Lead the operational procurement process.
  • Manage related KPI to measure, control and benchmark site procurement processes including creation of recurring metrics reports.
  • Develop relationship across the building and network of Procurement and other sites.
  • Align with Internal customers, Finance and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets by building to develop an agreed method of measuring and defining savings, value and other category metrics.
  • Project Management.
  • Build the category metrics model based on input from the category team to track and monitor performance to the local category strategy.
  • To measure actual vs planned savings and advice team of trends, escalate issues and own action plans.
  • Manage and maintain supplier scorecards.
  • Support the Procurement Operations excellence and Category Management teams.

A day in the life

  1. Daily monitoring on the performance of all sites.
  2. Improvement opportunities related to services.
  3. Attend critical escalations + Action plan or task force as needed.
  4. Networking with key stakeholders, functions and suppliers to collaborate into the best value added improvements needed for the operation.
  5. identify weak and vulnerabilities on our internal operative process and flag any potential risk.
  6. Maintain the managed team a coverage 24/7 for the shifts + team on the service to avoid disruption.
  7. Business Continuity process to maintain operation in case of contingencies.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of supply chain operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Experience in a procurement organization performing vendor management, contract management, negotiating complex purchases, and bidding
  • English Advanced

  • Experience in procurement
