We are seeking an experienced Principle Planning Manager, Last Mile Launch Execution, with a breadth of Amazon experience across different business units and pillars for an exciting new role in the North America Launch & Expansion organization. The Principle Manager, Launch Execution, will play a critical role in the rapid network growth and expansion of Amazon's 1P delivery network managing an exciting Go Big Plan.

Directly partners with Global Real Estate, Expansions team, Finance, Launch and Startup Execution and Operations to quickly find and execute on our Go Big Plan.
Fill the role as of lead PMO office collaborating with Pre-Construction and Construction, Design, Topology, Safety, Finance, IT, Operations and many other teams to plan and execute the Go Big Plan.
Deliver executive-level strategic insights by leading VP-attended business reviews, presenting complex site selection analyses, and influencing critical launch decisions that shape the 1P delivery network.

Responsibility will include acting as the primary doc owner and author, coordinating inputs from all stakeholder pillars.
Own and manager daily and weekly program action items, working with peers to resolve and unblock all issues that arise allowing execution teams to focus on field execution.
Challenge conventional approaches and think creatively to identify innovative solutions that break through process bottlenecks, questioning established norms when they impede optimal site selection outcomes, and proposing bold alternatives that accelerate launch timelines.
Operate at high velocity to keep pace with business expansion needs, making data-driven recommendations quickly while maintaining rigorous standards for site viability and long-term operational success.

Amazon's Last Mile Launch & Exectution Team manages end-to-end launch activities from site selection through site opening. As Principle Manager, you'll collaborate closely with team members who lead pre-construction, construction, design, start-up, & launch processes. This integrated approach enables rapid scaling while maintaining high standards, and your work will directly impact millions of customers experiencing Amazon's expanded 1P delivery Network

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 7+ years of program or project management experience
  • 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
  • MBA

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
