Amazon is seeking an exceptional Country Manager to lead and scale our Hub Delivery operations in Egypt. This senior leadership position requires a strategic thinker with proven operational excellence who can drive the expansion of our innovative last-mile delivery channel while maintaining Amazon's high standards for customer experience.
As Country Manager, you will own the strategic vision and tactical execution of Hub Delivery across Egypt, leading cross-functional initiatives and technology programs that directly impact our ability to delight customers. This role demands a leader who can seamlessly navigate between long-term strategic planning and hands-on execution, driving results through a high-performing team.

Key job responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the 3-year Hub Delivery roadmap for Egypt, aligning with broader AMZL objectives

  • Drive program growth through data-driven decision making and innovative solutions

  • Identify critical business opportunities and challenges, devising creative strategies to address them

  • Set clear, measurable objectives and leverage analytics to drive continuous improvement

  • Operational Excellence

  • Manage and scale Hub Delivery operations to meet the evolving needs of EG AMZL

  • Oversee multiple cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery against ambitious timelines

  • Develop and implement repeatable processes that drive automation and standardization

  • Identify and proactively mitigate risks before they impact program delivery

  • Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and develop a multifunctional team of direct reports

  • Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and customer obsession

  • Hire and develop top Amazon talent, raising the bar with each addition

  • Motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results

  • Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to optimize resource allocation

  • Communicate regularly with senior leadership, business leaders, and stakeholders through written updates and executive presentations

  • Harmonize diverse perspectives across functions to ensure cohesive efforts toward common goals

  • Manage and communicate project budgets and KPI reporting with transparency

Hub Delivery is an emerging Amazon Logistics (AMZL) channel on an exponential growth trajectory. Currently operating in the UAE, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, and the US, we're building toward global reach.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years of program management or Last Mile operations experience
  • Proven track record of using data and metrics to drive measurable improvements
  • Experience owning end-to-end program strategy, delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated success implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of direct team leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to build and scale teams
  • Background in logistics, supply chain, or last-mile delivery operations
  • Track record of scaling operations in complex, ambiguous business scenarios
  • Strong analytical capabilities with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience managing P&L or significant program budgets
