Amazon is seeking a talented System Development Engineer Intern to help us to build a big data analysis system, which will be served for Amazon Devices group.
As a System Development Engineer intern, you will specialize in building web user interface for data analysis and visualization, develop robust and scalable back-end system on AWS that works seamlessly with the web applications that will be used by our internal customers and external partners.
You will bring your expertise and ideas in the areas of web programming, user interface design, data processing and visualization, web application and AWS architecture to help our fast-paced devices production projects.

We need you:
-Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or Golang).
-Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and computer networks.
-Basic understanding of one frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
-Experience with cloud-based development on AWS.
Understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or experience in related application development.

Basic Qualifications

• Speak, write, and read fluently in Mandarin
• Graduate between 2026/12 to 2027/08.
• Can work 4+ days per week, 6+ months.
• Professional experience with both front-end and back-end programming
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HighChart, D3.js, web framework and web application development in general
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL Database architectures (MySQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch)
• Proficient in one programming languages (such as Java)
• Experience in one scripting language (such as Python)
• Knowledge of Linux services setup and architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building complex large-scale software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
• Experience in mobile apps development (iOS, Android)
• Experience with large datasets, multiple data streams, and data visualization
• Owning, designing and coding product initiatives from start to finish
• Produce quality, innovative, debuggable, testable and maintainable code
• Working with team to understand customer issues and investigate, prototype and deliver new and innovative system solutions
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly
• Collaborate across disciplines for positive, productive teamwork
