Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). - As a Senior Product Manager
- Tech on the Amazon Leo Antenna team you will help create and drive the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for Wi Fi products, with a high degree of ownership over critical features and the customer experience. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with engineering, design, operations, finance, and executive teams to envision, develop, and launch innovative products and services.
A successful candidate will be both creative and highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into products and applications that customers love. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technology savvy – with a proven track record of creating successful consumer products and services. Amazon Leo's success requires leaders who are owners, and who possess the entrepreneurial spirit needed to create new products. Our leaders solve complex, and get things done. As a Sr. Product Manager – Tech for Wi Fi you will assume end-to-end product ownership over technical products to deliver services to our customers.
Key job responsibilities
Manage the Amazon Leo Wi Fi product line life cycle from inception to launch
Understand and articulate customer needs, conduct on-going customer research, leverage internal knowledge and expertise, and prioritize feature requirements
Understand and synthesize wired and wireless technologies to define leading edge products for our customers
Be a passionate advocate for the customer; provide the voice of the customer
Inspire the team with the product vision, and work cross-functionally to bring the product to life
Write detailed business and product requirement documents and define use cases, features, and KPIs and drive tradeoff discussions and decisions with the development teams
Create the business case and write strategy docs. Determine the product ASIN and release strategy
Serve as the Wi Fi product expert assisting marketing with product collateral, presentations, whitepapers and participating with business development in customer meetings
Export Control Requirement:

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, Quick Sight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
