Amazon is looking for a high-energy, results oriented individual to manage Sourcing of services (indirect spend). This role works in a fast paced environment with quickly changing priorities, strategic approach, should be able to respond quickly to meet fast paced requirements with strong communication and negotiation skills. He or she should be able to manage multiple stakeholders and a reasonable number of vendor partners.
Key responsibilities and deliverables
Procurement category manager is responsible for

  • Identify, evaluate & shortlist potential supplier for given category (Fabric Based Packaging & Logistics Carrier – 3P ) for ASSPL, ATSPL, ARIPL & other business.
  • Conduct RFP (Request for proposal) process, through defining terms of engagement, pre-bid meets.
  • Complete commercial and terms & conditions through collaborating negotiation.
  • Complete the contracts and maintain the records for future reference.
  • Innovate new packaging solution and develop products with suppliers through sample evaluation, quality and deliver within the timelines.
  • Own the supplier relationship and be the spokesperson to represent Amazon in front of supplier with clarity.
  • Review the spend pattern on monthly basis and take any corrective actions.
  • Category manager needs to manage annual spend of ~ INR 1800 MM effectively.
  • Manage Trans-Consumables planning & execution for AMZL & EDSP Stations
  • Liaison with delivery station operations team & Resolve any conflicts and escalations from the sites.
  • Create scalable supply chain process for trans consumables connection

Job Deliverables:

o Daily Management of shift:
o Inventory Management
o Ensuring daily cycle count of inventory
o Re-ordering of material
o Ensure receiving is done is system on time
o Ensure vendor payments are made on time without any delay
o Manage the entire P2P cycle

A graduate with 1-3 yrs of experience in SCM
A self-motivated person with the ability to motivate the associates.
· Good people management skills.
· Good analytical and problem solving skills.
· Proficiency in MS Excel and Amazon system or similar systems.
