Amazon Robotics (AR) is Amazon’s industrial automation and robotics manufacturing arm, producing high-quality robotic systems that power fulfillment and transportation centers across the globe. Our Operations team works closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to deliver solutions to our customers.

We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Lead to support and lead a team in areas such as electro-mechanical assembly, test, material handling, pack, and ship. The Production Lead is a hands-on process leader responsible for coordinating daily production activities, troubleshooting process issues, and driving continuous improvement within their area of responsibility.

Key job responsibilities
As a Production Lead within Amazon Robotics' RMTO organization, you will lead and coordinate materials manufacturing activities to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and on-time delivery of robotics products. This role serves as a critical bridge between manufacturing operations, supply chain, and logistics teams while managing complex production control responsibilities.

You will be responsible for maintaining material flow through effective WIP management, coordinating with multiple stakeholders including Tighe 3PL, supply chain teams, and internal manufacturing groups. • Responsible for optimizing WIP tracking systems for complex robotics assemblies, including strategic move order execution and validation
  • Driving resolution of production issues through cross-functional collaboration
  • Ensuring data accuracy in Oracle and other production control systems
  • Coordinating expedited shipments and managing short ship situations
  • Preparing and delivering daily production status updates to leadership
  • Implementing process improvements to enhance production efficiency
  • Mentoring team members and promoting best practices in production control
  • Overseeing systematic replenishment processes across production areas and maintaining minimum/maximum levels
  • Leading cycle count programs and ensuring inventory accuracy across all production zones

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll need to demonstrate leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions. The role offers opportunities for growth and development within Amazon's manufacturing operations while contributing to the success of innovative robotics products.
