Amazon Brazil Operations is seeking an experienced leader to own and operate the Contingency Response Center (CRC) across all mile operations in the country. This role is responsible for end-to-end readiness, rapid response, and recovery planning across all delivery channels and node types, ensuring business continuity, customer promise protection, and network resilience.
The CRC Leader drives mid- and long-term contingency planning while also leading real-time response execution for disruptions across pick-up, sortation, and delivery operations. The role has country-level scope across all miles and partners closely with Operations, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Middle Mile, S&OP, and Planning teams to anticipate risk, build capacity buffers, and activate mitigation plans when needed.
This leader owns the command-center operating model, defining escalation mechanisms, decision frameworks, and playbooks for peak, weather events, capacity shortfalls, partner instability, and systemic failures. They provide critical inputs into 3-Year Plans, OP1, OP2, and peak readiness planning, ensuring contingency assumptions are embedded into long-term network strategy.
To be successful, the candidate must operate comfortably across mile leaders and tactical execution, translate complex operational data into clear decisions for senior leadership, and lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity and high-pressure situations. Strong hands-on operations experience is essential; prior logistics or last-mile experience is highly valued.
