Position: Tech Ops Engineer II (multiple positions available)
Location: Dallas, Texas

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Foundational knowledge of critical data center equipment (Generators, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Switchgear, Transformers, Power Feeders & Busduct, Chillers, Plumbing, Fire Detection/Suppression, Air Handling Units, Computer Room Air Handling/Conditioning Units).
2. Perform constructability reviews of critical scopes associated with the construction of new data centers building and sites and drive improvements in baseline.
3. Perform build phasing evaluations in terms of civil, structural, electrical fields for potential sites.
4. Determine and communicate site requirements that could impact schedule, cost, delivery of the work and integration of site with surrounding properties.
5. Conduct negotiations with land sellers, developers, general contractors and evaluate bids, proposals, and scoping documents with detail and accuracy.
6. Manage GC and other third-party vendors delivering preconstruction services during the design phase.
7. Define construction scopes and request for proposals to General Contractors. Review bid summaries, schedules and milestones, pricing, in subcontractor level bid evaluations.
8. Support issuance of contracting documents (i.e., Work Orders, Purchase Orders, Work Letters).
9. Develop handoff project documentation to Construction Manager partners.
10. Collect, evaluate, and share lessons learned to direct teammates, and peers in design, and construction teams to achieve continuous improvement across the entire program.
11. Domestic travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
    (40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $131,082.00/year to $183,300.00/year)

Basic Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 5 year(s) of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Must have 3 year(s) of experience in the following:

1. Experience in data center delivery (design, commissioning and construction), mission critical facilities or equivalent, and end to end project delivery.
2. Experience in developing new concepts through exploration, design, testing and into deployment/mass production.
3. Experience in creating and releasing high quality, consistent documentation for processes, standards, and procedures.
