Embark on an Extraordinary Journey with Amazon's Treasury Team in Singapore!
Are you a driven and analytical professional seeking to make a tangible impact within a dynamic, global organization? Join Amazon's Treasury team in Singapore and play a pivotal role in managing critical banking operations across the APAC region.
As a Treasury Analyst, you will serve as the single-threaded owner for operational treasury processes across the APAC region. Your primary responsibilities will include comprehensive end-to-end bank account management covering openings, closures, and KYC updates. You will work closely with APAC project management and provide bank account related support. You will also manage a wide range of cash operations such as foreign exchange trade settlements and confirmations.
In this role, you will lead strategic initiatives to streamline and automate banking operations, reducing manual processes and enhancing operational efficiency. You will drive process automation, implement technology-enabled solutions, and manage banking documentation workflows. Working collaboratively with treasury teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and external banking partners, you will deliver impactful results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The role requires working with multiple internal teams within Amazon, including those based in Seattle, Bangalore, Beijing, Dubai and Luxembourg, from Financial Planning, Finance Operations, Tax, Accounting, and Legal, as well as external partners that include banking and financing partners as well regulators.
The candidate must be able to communicate complex treasury concepts, both written and verbal, in ways that are meaningful and useful to non-treasury professionals. The candidate should also be familiar with treasury management systems used to manage bank account transactions and account details, global banking structures, operational treasury and banking workflows, as well as leading projects to achieve team goals.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems
- Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes, or experience working with stakeholders
- 2+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 2+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 2+ years of Treasury experience related to bank account management and operations with a global company.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL
