Amazon is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to help define and implement Amazon's long-term vision of end to end continuous and automated supply chain planning for North America's Customer Fulfillment Network. The Sr. Supply Chain Manager will work cross-functionally with multiple business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver products that are business critical for supporting network growth and efficiency in Amazon’s increasingly complex operations.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong attention to detail, and able to collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and transform business problems into requirements and deliverables.
- Key job responsibilities
- Perform system and process analysis to root cause issues within existing systems and recommend improvements.
- Write business documents to communicate ideas / issues and align stakeholders on path forward.
- Partner with stakeholders across the company to lead, support, and influence new initiatives.
- Work independently to deliver end-to-end technology and operations projects, working through obstacles along the way.
- Define scope and business requirements for automation and analytical projects.
- Coordinating regularly and independently with tech teams to define customer acceptance criteria, test new features and drive the roll-out and adoption by business
- Drive innovation by staying ahead of emerging AI technologies and trends
About the team
S&OP Automation & Analytics team focuses on strategic initiatives that improve the E2E customer fulfillment process. We support our planning and execution teams by delivering automated planning tools, AI solutions, prediction models, approachable and actionable analytics to enhance decision-making and optimize resource constraints.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Knowledge of basic SQL queries
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Knowledge of SQL at the intermediate level

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
