Job Description:
This is an entry-level role within the EFS operations team, focused on executing routine financial transactions with accuracy and consistency. The Associate is responsible for validating inputs, processing data as per defined procedures, and supporting basic issue resolution under close supervision.
- Key Responsibilities
- Record and apply customer payments (cash, checks, ACH, credit cards)
- Monitor accounts for outstanding balances and follow up on past-due invoices
- Assist with customer account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and organized accounts receivable records
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, statements, and payments
- Prepare basic aging reports and support collections efforts
- Follow company policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Perform other accounting or administrative duties as assigned
Skills & Expertise:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information.
- Ability to follow structured procedures and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Collaborative mindset with an initiative-taking approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and ERP systems is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
