Main responsibilities:

Provide high‑quality customer service aligned with company standards.

Oversee daily operations and staffing of the Meat Department.

Apply and enforce company policies and procedures for safety.
-
Review reports to identify successes and opportunities.
-
Schedule, supervise, train, and assign duties to meat cutters and clerks.
-
Implement merchandising programs and create signs, ensuring pricing integrity.
-
Perform monthly inventory and maintain accurate records.
-
Manage ordering, receiving, and quality checks of meat deliveries.
-
Cull cases daily, remove expired products, and apply markdown programs.
-
Safely operate meat‑processing equipment and comply with food‑safety requirements.
-
Take customer special orders, including special cuts.
-
Adhere to uniform and grooming policies.
