Main responsibilities:

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic HR counsel and driving initiatives that align talent strategies with business objectives. You will lead small projects or project streams within larger initiatives, requiring analysis and actionable recommendations. Your role will focus on influencing organizational effectiveness, mitigating risk, and fostering a culture of engagement and inclusion.

This position is located at Boise, Idaho.

  • Partner with senior leaders to implement HR strategies that support business goals across multiple departments.

  • Provide expert counsel on employee relations, compliance, and risk mitigation.

  • Lead HR projects and initiatives, including talent management, succession planning, and organizational design.

  • Analyze workforce trends and recommend solutions using data-driven insights.

  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies.

  • Mentor peers and contribute to the development of HR team capabilities.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies; conduct investigations as needed.

  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) on programs such as Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition.

  • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and systems.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Ability to influence without authority and build strong relationships with senior leaders.

  • Skilled in navigating ambiguity and resolving moderately complex issues.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication; able to simplify complex concepts.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor peers and lead team project work.

  • Proactive approach to identifying process improvements and implementing solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 5-7 plus  years of progressive HR experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of core HR disciplines (e.g., Employee Relations, Talent Management, Compensation, etc.).

  • Experience supporting multiple leaders within a single function.

  • Proven ability to leverage HR systems, analytics, and AI tools for decision-making.

  • Ability to travel 5–10%.
