Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

• Datenkoordination: Unterstützung der In-Service Datenanalyse Eurofighter sowie Koordination des Datenaustauschs zwischen Kunden und System Engineering.

• Internationale Steuerung: Definition und Begleitung von internationalen In-Service-Aktivitäten in enger Absprache mit Partnerfirmen (EPCs) und den Luftwaffen.

• Software-Lifecycle-Management: Einsteuerung von Änderungsforderungen, Fehlerbehebungen und Analysen der internen Software-Tools.

• Qualifikation & Export: Koordination von Softwarequalifikationen gemäß SSDS-Standards sowie Umsetzung von Exportaktivitäten im Rahmen der Verträge.

• Stakeholder Management: Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Partnern und proaktives Management der am Prozess beteiligten Schnittstellen.

Geforderte Kenntnisse und Qualifikationen

• Ausbildung: Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Elektrotechnik, Informatik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mit langjähriger Luftfahrterfahrung.

• Branchenkenntnis: Mehrjährige Arbeitserfahrung in der Luftfahrt; fundierte Kenntnisse des Waffensystems Eurofighter sind ein entscheidender Vorteil.

• Prozesswissen: Grundlegendes Verständnis der Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Prozesse sowie Basiskenntnisse in der IT- oder Softwareentwicklung.

• Kommunikationsstärke: Verhandlungsgeschick und ein absolut sicheres Auftreten im internationalen Umfeld.

• Sicherheit & Mobilität: Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, Bereitschaft zur Sicherheitsüberprüfung (Ü2) sowie Reisebereitschaft innerhalb der EU.

In order to support the Eurofighter In-Service Support, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Systems Engineer and Delivery Manager (d/m/w).

Join the Diagnostic Services Team in Manching! As a pivot point for the Eurofighter program, our team ensures that flight data analysis and diagnostic tools are perfectly aligned with the needs of international Air Forces. You will act as the vital link between System Engineering and our global customers, managing the delivery of high-tech software solutions and data insights that keep the Eurofighter fleet mission-ready.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Data Coordination: Lead the In-Service data analysis for the Eurofighter and bridge the gap between customer needs and System Engineering for seamless data exchange.

• International Operations: Define and monitor international In-Service activities in close collaboration with Partner Companies (EPCs) and various Air Forces.

• Software Lifecycle Management: Manage change requests, bug fixes, and internal software tool analyses, ensuring high-performance diagnostic capabilities.

• Qualification & Export: Coordinate software qualifications according to SSDS standards and oversee export activities within contractual delivery frameworks.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for international partners, fostering strong collaborative relationships across the program.

Desired skills and qualifications

• Educational Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, Aeronautics, or a related field, or extensive professional experience in the aviation industry.

• Aviation Expertise: Solid experience in aviation systems/subsystems; specific knowledge of the Eurofighter weapon system and its operational environment is a major plus.

• Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) processes and basic software development principles.

• Communication & Diplomacy: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to operate with confidence and tact in a high-level international environment.

• Language & Security: Professional fluency in English and German is required. You must be eligible for aÜ2 Security Clearance and be willing to travel within the EU.
