Job Description:

The jobholder will be responsible for the financial pricing activities for the Spanish Trainer contracts by providing the expertise at all stages, from initiation to contract end (RFP evaluation, building up prices, price investigation, negotiation, contract amendment, monitoring and closing).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the pricing and financial activities for bidding proposals (including National Price Investigation) in cooperation with multi-functional teams (engineering, operations, services, procurement, quality…).

  • Lead the pricing calculations and financial provisions of the proposals: costing analysis, liquidated damages, commercial risk and opportunities assessment, project profitability calculations, etc.

  • Align the pricing and rest of financial aspects of the proposals with the partner company for the project (Turkish Aerospace)

  • Manage the financial matters to discharge the contracts placed between the Spanish customer and the UTE (Airbus/ Turkish Aerospace)

  • Support the Airbus corporate process (RMC) for the approval of the proposals, including preparation of the Financial Business Case and Cash Curves Profile

  • Support for Estimate at Completion Program Process, Business Plan and Forecast exercises, and ensuring profitability targets achievement.

SKILLS

  • Masters Degree (Engineering or Business)
  • Around 5 years of Experience in similar positions with a Financial background
  • Advanced level in English
  • Highly Valuable advanced level in MS Excel.
