In order to support the Manufacturing Process Simulation team, Airbus Operations is looking for a Masterand student in the field of Aircraft Major Components Assembly.

Location and Duration

• Location: Hamburg
• Start: 01.04.2026
• Duration: 6 to 9 months

Your Location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your Tasks and Responsibilities

• Review of the models previously created to predict the crown fitting angles using artificial intelligence and measurements data captured during the assembly process
• To explore the possibility to include other input parameters to improve the AI model robustness
• To compare python scrips to commercially available AI Tools
• To use of AI to not only predict the crown fitting angles but also the correct spar positioning to later on feed in the DFEM model

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Student pursuing Engineering / IT Master or similar
• Knowledge in Python AI
• High interest and focus at university
• English fluent
