Join our international Customer Business Development team at Airbus, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Tools business.

In this position, you will bridge the gap between our engineering experts, commercial partners at Satair, and major airlines worldwide to drive departmental growth.

You will translate real-market needs into profitable, high-tech solutions, ensuring our customers have the innovations they need to keep flying.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • You will analyze customer pain points to fuel our New Product Development (NPD) pipeline, creating comprehensive business cases and feasibility studies for future Go/No-Go decisions.

  • Working alongside Satair, you will guide key airline partners and MROs toward the most efficient maintenance solutions and provide expert product training.

  • You will serve as the Voice of the Customer internally, liaising with our Design Offices to transform airline feedback into customized, validated engineering solutions.

  • You will represent Airbus at regional trade fairs and Material Readiness Conferences (MRC), delivering technical presentations that secure buy-in for our regional sales strategies.

  • You will balance urgent customer demands with long-term engineering goals, managing the journey from initial concept to on-site tool validation at customer facilities.

ABOUT YOU

  • You hold a relevant qualification in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial) or Business Administration with a strong technical aptitude.

  • You have early-career experience or strong internships within the aviation industry, preferably in an MRO, airline engineering department, or aerospace OEM.

  • You are comfortable working with data to build and defend business cases, utilizing skills in financial forecasting and SWOT analysis.

  • You possess a strong understanding of aircraft maintenance and can communicate complex technical specifications fluently to both engineers and commercial teams.

  • You have exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of building consensus across a multinational ecosystem of internal teams and external partners.
