About the Role

Would you like to work with IT Network Infrastructure in a global business that operates non-stop? Do you see the importance of steady, reliable and secure network services? Do you want to join our journey to modernize our network?

You will join a team of skilled professionals, participate in IT Infrastructure projects and take care of the daily operations with regards to Satair's global network Cisco ecosystem, NAC, Checkpoint Firewalls, VPN, Wifi and SASE. The position is located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintaining network documentation
• Work closely with network support vendors to coordinate troubleshooting and support activities
• Handle daily Incidents and Service Requests through IT Service Management tool
• Participate in IT Infrastructure projects and modernization of global Cisco network
• Be part of on-call duty approximately every 5th week after initial onboarding and training completion

Some examples of currently in progress projects:

• Cisco cloud managed (Meraki) transition
• Network integration with US based company that has joined Satair last year
• Migration to FWaaS
• SAP Datacenter transition

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is technically proficient and can join us on our journey towards modernizing our global (Cisco) network and assist in the planning and execution phase of projects related to Satair rapid growth ambitions.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT Infrastructure role
• Deep knowledge and experience with Cisco network ecosystem (Meraki is a plus)
• Hands on experience with firewall technologies (Checkpoint is a plus)
• Proven track record of managing firewalls
• Hands on experience with Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC)
• IT-related education (IT Technician/Engineer) or a Bachelor degree
• Knowledge of ITIL framework, preferably certified in ITIL V4 Foundation
• Experience working with ITSM systems
• Fluent in English both written and verbally
• Written skills that demonstrates structure and care for the detail(s)
• Can offer valid references to attest your skills/personality
• Not afraid of embracing new technologies and an eager learner

Work Environment

Satair operates in a 24/7 environment as we have locations across the world. You will be expected to be part of our on-call duty. The on-call duty will be approximately every 5th week after initial onboarding and training has been completed.

Satair's headquarters is situated in Copenhagen near the airport and we believe that presence makes a difference in our culture and team work. There is a possibility of working from home, but we look for a candidate who prefers to be in the environment, rather than the distance.
