Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a **Corporate SMS Responsible (f/m)**to join our Aviation Safety Governance Department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing aircraft accident prevention and associated risk management at a Corporate level. As part of the Safety Governance Department, you will be involved in the operations of the Airbus Corporate Safety Management System (SMS) aiming at ensuring the efficiency of SMS implementation across the various functions (Engineering, Operations, Quality, etc.).

Your challenges:

  • Ensure performant operations of the Corporate SMS by identifying and managing systemic safety risks for accident prevention.

  • Lead Multi-Functional Teams (MFT) of SMS representatives across functions to mitigate safety risks due to organisational root causes.

  • Coordinate systemic risks through the cross-functional network of Safety Management System Officers in Airbus Commercial.

  • Manage and monitor the SMS officers network at Functions level to ensure effective SMS implementation and the cascading of actions.

  • Deliver safety training for SMS officers, provide accident prevention awareness, and ensure appropriate internal and external safety information exchange.

Your boarding pass:

  • Confirmed experience in the field.

  • Confirmed background in Aviation Safety Management System (SMS) (Mandatory).

  • Stakeholders and project management skills.

  • Risk management knowledge (Recommended).

  • Negotiation level in English (Mandatory), another language is a plus.
