Job Description:

A new Job Position for Eurodrone (MALE RPAS) Design Engineer is required within the Electrical System Installation Design Department (Spanish perimeter for Eurodrone, Eurofighter FCAS, A400M and Legacy Combat A/C). The Position is aiming to support on the ESI development of Eurodrone Fuselage and Empennage and will be integrated in the multidisciplinary team of Electrical System Installation Design.

Although main Program focus will be on the mentioned scope, the candidate would have additionally the opportunity to support and understand other development design activities within department, such as FCAS, Eurofighter, A400M, or legacy A/C.

The Candidates should have knowledge in some of the Electrical and/ or Electromechanical Design fields (i.e. Electrical Diagrams, Harnesses, Electrical Boxes, Electromechanical Installations etc.), including CATIA V5/ V6-3DX and/ or Electrical Diagrams Tools (See-XP, Capital Logic etc.) knowledge.

Also, due to the high amount of stakeholders interfacing with Electrical Design activities (Systems Analysis Departments, Configuration, Structural Design, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, Standardization, In Service Support etc.) it is also required the ability to communicate and work in a team collaborative international environment, among other soft skills (self-organized etc.).

The Job final scope is consisting among others in performing Design Definition Dossier for Electrical Wiring interconnection Diagrams, Electrical harnesses design, Supports/ Bracketry Design, and Electromechanical Installations (i.e. Equipment, Electrical Boxes, Harnesses etc.) and associated technical management activities.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Educated in an  Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.

  • Over 5 years of experience in Engineering, in a Design/Airframe Department.

  • Knowledge in Electrical and/ or Electromechanical  design, including CATIA V5 knowledge (desirable CATIA V6/3DX).

  • High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode.

  • Advanced level in English (Spanish as mother tongue)

  • German, French or Italian knowledge would be an asset.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Able to propose new ideas.
