We are looking for Junior IT Infrastructure Engineer to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.

Areas of impact:  Junior IT Infrastructure Engineer Responsibilities:

• Supports higher level activities (requirements analysis, design, integration, verification and validation) to ensure feasibility and efficiency of the overall development.
• Combines analytical and design skills with the appropriate knowledge of software and hardware technology to help define, design, generate, test, implement and modify IT systems.
• Installation, configuration and integration of hardware, software and network components according to company requirements.
• Collaborate with various teams to understand integration requirements and develop solutions.
• Integrates IT components elements to meet low level architecture.
• Verifies IT components elements and prepares these for upper level integration.
• Based on business needs, travel within and outside the country may be required

Requirements:

• Analytical, operative, and problem-solver who wants to learn and develop following DevOps and Agile philosophies.
• Knowledge in installing, configuring and troubleshoot Microsoft products.
• Knowledge in installing, configuring and troubleshoot UNIX/Linux systems.
• Basic knowledge of IT Hardware Infrastructure (e.g. Servers, Storage, SAN technologies).
• Experience with containerized Application environments and platforms (e.g. Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Understanding of network security protocols and products.
• Knowledge on Automation Technologies (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python or Ansible) is a plus.
