Test Development Engineer (m/f/d) for Satellite Ground Segment Software and Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) in national space projects at Airbus Space Engineering in Friedrichshafen

Sie arbeiten in einem vielseitigen und engagierten Team in den Bereichen Weltraum- und Bodensystemarchitekturen, sichere Weltraumlösungen, Systemtechnik, Entwicklung, Betrieb, Datenverarbeitung und Leistungsmodellierung. In Ihrer Rolle arbeiten Sie innerhalb des Assembly, Integration und Test-(AIT) Teams und implementieren Testsoftware und -hilfsmittel, setzen Tests auf, führen diese durch, nehmen Fehler auf und grenzen sie ein. Als Teil des integrierten Teams arbeiten Sie eng mit unseren Fachexperten für Kryptographie, Software und des Satellitenbetriebs zusammen.

You will work in a diverse and committed team in the areas of space and ground system architectures, secure space solutions, systems engineering, development, operations, data processing, and performance modeling. In your role, you will work within the Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) team and implement test software and tools, set up tests, execute them, record errors, and isolate them. As part of the integrated team, you will work closely with our experts in cryptography, software, and satellite operations.

Aufgaben / Tasks

• Implementierung von Testsoftware für Integrations- und Systemtests

• Implementierung von Testhilfsmitteln wie z.B. Testdatengeneratoren

• Erzeugung/Zusammenstellung von Testdatensätzen (JSON, XML, Binärdaten, Telekommandos, Telemetriedaten)

• Erstellung und Erweiterung von Testprozeduren und Anleitungen

• Aufnahme der Tests in ein Testfallverwaltungswerkzeug

• Einbinden der Software in die Testprozessautomatisierung (Testing & Deployment)

• Aufsetzen und Durchführung von (Regressions-) Tests (JUnit, Cpp Unit o.ä. Arquillian)

• Unterstützung und Durchführung von Integrationstests auf unterschiedlichen Ebenen

• Fehleraufnahme und -eingrenzung, Aufnahme der Ergebnisse in ein Fehlerverfolgungswerkzeug

• Implementation of test software for integration and system tests

• Implementation of test tools such as test data generators

• Generation/compilation of test data sets (JSON, XML, binary data, telecommands, telemetry data)

• Creation and expansion of test procedures and instructions

• Recording of tests in a test case management tool

• Integration of software into test process automation (testing & deployment)

• Setting up and performing (regression) tests (JUnit, Cpp Unit, etc., Arquillian)

• Support and execution of integration tests at different levels

• Recording and isolating errors, recording results in an error tracking tool

Qualifikationen / Required Skills

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informationstechnik oder vergleichbar

• Mehr als 3 Jahre Erfahrung mit Java 8, Java EE7 Professional und Kenntnisse der Servertechnologie

• Erfahrung mit REST Architekturen und Web-Applikationen

• Kenntnisse von Software Engineering Werkzeugen (Net Beans, GIT, Stash, Jira, Jenkins, Gradle, …)

• Testimplementierung: Java, C++, Ansible, TCL …

• Interesse und die Fähigkeit, sich schnell in neue Technologien einzuarbeiten

• Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit nationalen Kunden ist von Vorteil

• Gute Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeiten

• Beherrschung von Deutsch und Englisch

• Completed degree in computer science or equivalent

• More than 3 years of experience with Java 8, Java EE7 Professional and knowledge of server technology

• Experience with REST architectures and web applications

• Knowledge of software engineering tools (Net Beans, GIT, Stash, Jira, Jenkins, Gradle, …)

• Test implementation: Java, C++, Ansible, TCL …

• Interest and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new technologies

• Experience working with national customers is an advantage

• Good communication and team skills

• Proficiency in German and English
