About the Role

Aircraft technicians are in charge of the dismantling, the greening and cutting phase. They are responsible to strip the inside of the aircraft down to its green shell, while sorting the waste materials and cut the airframe into little parts for treatment and transportation for recycling purposes. They also report to the dismantling leader.

Responsibilities

• Remove component according to Airworthiness Documents
• Schedule and oversee routine cutting & greening work order cards
• Implement and adhere to strict safety guidelines
• Complete the greening and cutting of the aircraft according to internal procedures, execute task regarding greening and cutting outside scope of CAAC circular AC-145-FS-2019-017
• Strip the inside of the aircraft (cockpit, cabin and cargo holds) down to its green shell
• Sort the waste materials (cables, foam, cabin items…) obtained at source in order to recover as many of them as possible
• Cut the airframe into little parts for treatment and transportation for recycling purposes
• Other tasks assigned by manager
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

• College degree in aviation related major

Experience:

• 5 years experience in aviation domain

Certification:

• Civil Aviation Maintenance Personnel Basic License

Language:

• Fluent English both in written and oral speaking

Knowledge / Technical Skills:

• Standard practice of mechanical

Abilities:

• Thorough understanding of aircraft parts, systems, and mechanics
• Thorough understanding of tools and methods used to ensure proper deconstruction of an aircraft
• Ability to read, comprehend, and adhere to manual instructions to resolve complex mechanical issues
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software used to complete and maintain records
• Detail-oriented with mechanical inclination
• Superior and careful workmanship
• Ability to perform consistently under stressful conditions
• Ability to perform basic inspections and repairs
• Ability to learn new skills and methods of repairs
• Sufficient oral and verbal communication skills, as needed, to discuss equipment malfunctions and complete reports
