About the Role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance System Designer (f/m) to join our Data-Driven Services & Maintenance Community based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing the "Maintenance of Tomorrow" solutions within the Maintenance R&T Agile Release Train. As part of this community of over 80 people, you will be involved in designing and integrating centralized digital diagnostic systems aiming at maximizing aircraft availability and easing daily airline operations.

Your Challenges

  • Design and model (MBSE, Data-oriented modeling) ambitious aircraft health monitoring solutions, particularly diagnostics but also prognostics, in order to surpass the international state of the art through innovation and establish the standards of tomorrow
  • Implement and validate these solutions on future use cases to guarantee their scalability and industrialization capacity
  • Contribute to demonstrators validating end-to-end operations in an airline company
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., design office, maintenance team supporting the in-service fleet, program, technical documentation, etc.) and external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers, scientific partners, airlines, etc.)
  • Disseminate new maintenance and diagnostics concepts to internal and external stakeholders

Your Boarding Pass

Minimum professional experience level expected: 3 years

Required qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Aeronautical or Systems Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Solid knowledge of maintenance diagnostic functions, Built-In Test Equipment (BITE), and Airbus aircraft systems
  • Proficiency in MBSE (Model Based System Engineering) and data-oriented technologies
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a good understanding of airline operations
  • Ability to communicate/simplify complex subjects
  • Negotiation-level English
