Head of Events, EMEA
Location: in one of our AIG Offices in Frankfurt/Germany, Paris/France, Milano/Italy or Madrid/Spain.

About the role
This role will develop and embed an impactful approach to event and sponsorship marketing in EMEA in alignment with the company’s priorities.
Supporting you in this challenge will be an EMEA Marketing & Communications team committed to bring our best collective thinking across the region to set the standard and continuously improve outcomes.
What you will be responsible for, including but not limited to:
- **EMEA Events Programme –**Own the strategy, schedule and lead the delivery of broker, client and partner events and sponsorships across the region in close collaboration with Marketing & Communications colleagues (EMEA, International and Global).
- Event Best Practices - Establish and continuously optimise best practices for event proposals, design, delivery and measurement.
- Tools and Measurement – Advocate for the use of Cvent, Monday, Salesforce and other tools to ensure that events are planned, delivered, tracked, and measured for performance, ROI, and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Accountability– Proactive support, guidance and strategic partner to EMEA Marketing & Communications, Product and Distribution partners.
What we’re looking for:
- Degree qualified in Business Administration/Economics, Marketing/Communication, or related fields.
- Proven experience in Events Marketing, ideally in the financial service industry/regulated industry as well as B2B experience.
- Proven experience in event ROI measurement, ideally including commercial impact and attribution.
- Proficiency with both day-to-day activities and long-term strategic planning, striving under tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities to keep up with the company's evolving needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, as well as one of the following: German, French, Italian. Additional language skills are an advantage
