AIG’s Information Technology functions include enterprise architecture, software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, and technology risk and compliance.

How you will create an impact

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and executing AIG Korea’s cloud computing strategies by designing, developing, and managing cloud infrastructure, security, application and assets for technology integration and effectively supporting business needs.

• Planning the upgrade of the Ai Gen(Integrated insurance system in Korea) platform technology upgrade to prepare “Ai Gen Cloud ready” by 2Q, 2026.

• Performing installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and tuning for Ai Gen infrastructure services.

• Building, updating and maintaining Ai Gen technical infrastructure, cloud scripts, settings, cloud API and interfaces.

• Identify opportunities of automation and reduce the operational workload, build scripts, introduce new tools and practices as needed.

• Working closely with the relevant function leads(AIG Global Operation, Security, AIG Korea Business) to provide effective & practical cloud Infrastructure, accelerate building digital solutions, advice on observations and gaps and recommend improvements under key legislation and guidelines include the following

Knowledge of relevant Korean Regulations including:

• Electronic Financial Transaction Act

• Regulation on Supervision on Electronic Financial Transactions

• Guideline on the Use of Cloud Computing Services in Financial Industry

• Network Separation policy of financial companies

What we’re looking for:

Key Capabilities:

• IT Infrastructure

• Support, design and implement infrastructure technologies and solutions such as: computing, telephony, physical infrastructure, software and open source packages and solutions, and virtual and clouding, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.

• Information security – maintain the security confidentiality and integrity of information systems through compliance with AIG security policy and relevant regulations.

• 7+ years’ experience with Redhat Linux or Unix and AIX operation systems

• 5+ years’ experience with virtual systems solution; VMware or Vxrail and ESXI hypervisor operation systems

• 5+ years’ experience configuration and managing Microsoft Exchange and Active directory domains services, including user/group management and GPO implementation.

• Build and managed Microsoft Exchange server and set up the Exchange Database Availability group, and managed mailbox and transport services.

• 3+ years’ experience providing operation and maintenance support to IT systems in large scale environment (Preferable in financial company)

• Ability to come up with innovative technical suggestions and propose solutions

• Results oriented and highly accountable.

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

• Language skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills both English and Korean with the ability to communicate Technical terminology to people with limited or no technical understanding.

Key Experience:

• Minimum 7 to 10 years Infrastructure service experience

• Graduate degree or equivalent
