SUMMARY:

Supervises the Shipping & Receiving functions for the Frederick Agilent NASD Site. Ensures material and parts inventory accuracy by electronically and physically dispensing staging and reconciling material required for the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API). Oversees the movement of material and parts between warehouse areas. Assures proper segregation of material in the warehouse space. Responsible for projects in the warehouse as assigned by management. Approved delegates for this position are Supply Chain Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees the receiving process for incoming materials and products

  • Oversees shipping / outbound logistics activities. Activities include pre-transport preparation of hazardous materials and hazardous waste

  • Facilitates the coordination of products / materials involving third party logistics providers

  • Works directly with sourcing, material planning and manufacturing personnel to ensure the necessary materials and quantities are available and transferred prior to production operations

  • Oversees the issuance process for materials required for production operations as specified in the Bill of Materials (BOM)

  • Evaluate product / materials process flow through the warehouse and production areas and modify / implement improvements.

  • Oversees and enforces the reconciliation process for materials used during production operations

  • Confirms accuracy of material movements (warehouse to manufacturing, manufacturing to warehouse, etc.) are properly entered into and reflected in ERP

  • Oversees and participates inventory counts and investigating inventory discrepancy investigations. Ensures process is optimized to for reconciling inventory discrepancies physical stock and SAP stock

  • Monitors and escalates inventory levels by working with planning, logistics and procurement personnel when materials are observed to be near or below the minimum stock level

  • Performs general departmental duties such as maintaining supplies, inventory levels, and other general "housekeeping" tasks

  • Other relevant duties as assigned and needed by their manager

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Experience in a cGMP environment
  • ERP (management systems) experience

Desired:

  • Supervisory experience
  • TDG training
  • Experience with SOP creation and maintenance

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $84,160.00 - $131,500.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
