Every day, Agilent Field Service Engineers help our customers to solve issues that enable scientists to make discoveries that enhance the quality of life. Through their work, they deliver insights and provide support that keep laboratories running smoothly and more efficiently.

Join our dynamic organization to be a part of this rewarding and exciting work, where you will be responsible for supporting our clients with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and delivery of customer training on our GC/GCMS and GCMS-QQQ.

Your main responsibilities will be to:• Respond to customer needs by providing repair, installation, upgrade and preventive maintenance activities**• Contact customers in a timely manner and schedule service efficiently• Connect with manager and sales team to understand and meet customer needs** and expectations• Complete administrative paperwork and computer reports promptly and accurately

  • Address customer requests for service and communicate proactively before, during and after service
  • Maintain Agilent’s customer service reputation by aligning with all corporate policies and procedures

This position requires regular travel to clients located in the Lazio, Umbria, Abruzzo and Campania region, as well as occasional support for additional customers across Italy when required. A company car will be provided for your convenience.

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with the following background:

  • University degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or similar.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience with GCMS/GCMS QQQ, preferably gained through technical support roles**(troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer-facing technical support)** or as end user.
  • Full proficiency in Italian and good level of English (especially reading & understanding).
  • A valid driving license.

On a personal level, you are proactive, outgoing and customer oriented. You enjoy working b oth autonomously and as part of a team, and to solve various types of problems. You have great communications and interpersonal skills to interact with many internal and external partners.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
