Then the job as Portfolio Account Manager for our Bulk Antibodies and Assay Solutions in EMEA and AFO will be the right job for you.

As our Portfolio Account Manager, you will have the responsibility for selling Agilent Dako’s Antibodies to IVD manufactures in Europe (EMEA) and Americas (AFO) primarily through outbound and inbound sales activities via telephone, email and other digital methods.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for selling bulk antibodies to customers in EMEA and AFO primarily through digital sales activities - telephone, email, online store, webchat.
  • Converting forecast into orders and revenue
  • Acts independently but are part of a sales team and a business unit in Agilent.
  • Act as sole sales representative for assigned accounts.
  • Represents the company to the customer in all sales-oriented activities.
  • Focuses on maintaining good service, attract organic opportunities and find potential new high growth customers.

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for

Must-have:

  • University degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Life Sciences(e.g. biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, analytical chemistry)
  • Good command of English (spoken and written)
  • Curiosity, motivation, and interest in learning commercial skills

Nice-to-have:

  • Any exposure to sales, customer interaction, or industry collaboration
  • Interest in biotech, diagnostics, or applied life sciences

Skills that will help you succeed

  • Strong communication abilities across verbal, written, and active‑listening contexts
  • Excellent time‑management skills and the capacity to perform well under pressure
  • A cooperative, proactive mindset when approaching challenges and problem‑solving
  • The ability to understand customers’ needs and balance expectations with Agilent’s business priorities
  • A proactive, “can‑do” attitude and a natural drive to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Comfort using digital tools such as webchat, email, social media, and teleconferencing platforms
