This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a successful and international team of technically trained support engineers that's delivering day-to-day remote telephone support services for Agilent's Life Science and Chemical Analysis customers. Become part of Agilent Cross Lab organization, a network of experts who help our customers improving laboratory performance and meeting vital business needs.

As a Remote Support Engineer, you will be providing technical support to our external customers utilizing your remote diagnostic capabilities, through phone, email, chat or social media. Focusing on our chromatography products (GC, GCMS, LC, LCMS, HPLC and others), your goal will be to reduce customer downtime and identify repair strategies. To be successful in this role, you must be very customer-focused, confident, flexible and willing to go the extra mile for our customers. We will make sure you get all the training and development opportunities you need to become the best in your field.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify customer issues and provide a high level of reactive and proactive technical services in support of Agilent's product portfolio
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by guiding, assisting and training users on maintenance and configurations
  • Remote trouble shooting on hardware and software
  • Providing problem resolution to optimize the efficiency and uptime availability of customer systems

This is temporary position, with a contract term of1 year

. The position follows a hybrid model where you will be based in one of our offices: either in Milan**(Cernusco-sul-Naviglio, preferred) or in** Barcelona, and you will partially work from home (2 days a week).

Qualifications

We are looking for motivated individuals with the following background:

  • University Degree in **Chemistry **or Life Sciences based discipline
  • Hands-on experience(internship, apprenticeship, university projects or first postgraduate experience…) with chromatography and spectrometry analytical techniques such as GC, GCMS, LC, LCMS, HPLC, ICPMS, ICPOES…
  • Full proficiency in English and Italian

You have great communications and interpersonal skills to interact with many internal and external partners. You show a real can-do attitude and you like helping others and solving problems. Whilst being **flexible **and adaptable, you have also strong planning and organizational skills.
