We are currently looking for a highly motivated Student (System Integration Test) to join our R&D team.

Principle duties and essential functions

The primary responsibility of the Student (System Integration Test) will be to design, develop and continuously execute automated regression tests for Adtran Optical Networking’s FSP 3000 Agile Connect™ optical platform.

Other tasks and responsibilities

• Development of automated regression tests for DWDM optical transport product line

• Continuous regression enhancements, maintenance and execution

• Ensuring general system stability, reliability and robustness over the course of new features development

• Design and test environment setup for various test scenarios

• Working closely with R&D development team to identify issues

• Documentation and tracking of defects in the test management system

Knowledge, skills and experience required

• 3rd/4th year Telecommunications, Computer Science or similar faculty student

• Ability to work at least 4/5 full-time job

• Very good language skills in English

• Preferably experience with Python or other programming languages

• ML/AI-related knowledge

• Preferably experience with Linux OS

• Preferably experience with GIT version control system

• Preferably experience with Robot Framework

• Preferably experience in software testing methodologies

• Preferably experience with WDM Optical Networks

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Self-motivated, teamwork oriented and well organized

• Flexible, open minded and eager to work in fast changing environment
