Duties and Responsibilities

• Learn about and contribute to the development of our WDM products

• Other tasks may include: System Testing, Automated Test Development, Software Development, Hardware Design or FPGA Verification

• Independently learn about technologies that go into Adtran's products

• Present accomplishments and internship take-aways

• Work independently on the assigned design activities with minimal supervision

• Work efficiently within an Agile development team

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience with programming and Python scripting

• Ability and eagerness to learn quickly with minimal supervision

• Ability to learn new skills and adapt to the fast-changing pace of the telecom industry

• Drive to find solutions to complex problems

• Works well with others in a team environment

• Professional written and oral communication skills
