As an Account Manager for Orange in Eastern Europe, you will be responsible for developing and driving sales of Adtran’s portfolio preferably directly or through authorized channel partners. You will report to the Vice President Sales Eastern Europe and play a key role in achieving the company’s revenue goals.
The ideal candidate for this position should have experience in selling optical networking solutions and services, which could have been gained at Telekom Service Providers, System Integrators, Channel Resellers, or Consultancy Companies. This is a customer-facing position, requiring ownership of the full sales cycle — from establishing relationships to all relevant levels, opportunity identification and qualification, to solution presentation, commercial negotiation, and order closure.
Responsibilities

Developing trust relationships with the assigned customer portfolio.

Prospecting and directly engaging Orange affiliates to develop sales opportunities.

Developing and managing Orange business opportunities in the designated geographical area (Poland, Romania, Slovakia) to increase Adtran’s share of wallet in the Orange account.

Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.

Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring excellent customer service and increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Directly participating in the closing and negotiation processes in collaboration with the supporting teams.

Expanding relationships within the Orange affiliates.
-
Understand and master customer business needs, work closely with internal team to ensure accurate communication and efficient delivery of customer needs.

Providing regular reports on progress and forecasts to stakeholders, utilizing key account metrics.
Our expectations

Experience in direct customer sales.
-
5+ years of sales experience within the telecom industry.
-
Goal-oriented with a structured work approach, drive, and a passion for sales.
-
Ability to plan short-term, medium-term, and long-term activities in order to consistently achieve objectives.
-
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
-
Fluent Polish and English are required (the role focuses on developing the account in the Polish market).

Experience with value-based selling approaches and communication at the C-level and with top management.

Strong searching skills.

Flexibility and willingness to travel within Poland and abroad (valid driver license).
-
Working from home office based in Warsaw or closer surroundings
