The opportunity

Adobe’s Risk Advisory and Assurance Services (RAAS) function, formerly Global Audit, is seeking an experienced information security professional to assess the design and effectiveness of information security and technology controls across Adobe’s technology landscape. The candidate must have a good understanding of technology and cybersecurity risks, in line with regulatory and other compliance requirements. This position will be based in Adobe's Bangalore office.

What you will do

  • Work under the supervision of the RAAS group manager to plan, scope, and evaluate the design and efficiency of internal security and compliance controls (on-prem and public cloud).
  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments, including security architecture reviews, design and workflow assessments, configuration reviews, cloud security reviews, and assessments of VA/PT, as well as emerging risks such as ransomware.
  • Perform information security-related assessments to cover domains like user access management, network, OS and application security, encryption, backup management, disaster recovery, training and awareness, etc.
  • Assist with the development of project plans, which include scope, schedule, cost, quality, organization, communication, staffing, risk, and issue management.
  • Stay informed about security trends, emerging technologies, and developments in the cybersecurity field.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in information systems, computer science, or information technology. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • The candidate should hold a relevant credential, such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or CCSP. Other certifications, such as AWS/Azure architect and a security specialty, are a plus.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: application security, Linux/Windows system security, network security (firewalls, switches, routers, LAN, WAN security), mobile device security, wireless security, cloud technologies (IaaS, SaaS environments, etc.), and web technologies.
  • Experience with implementing and auditing security controls for cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud is a must.
  • Demonstrable experience in driving and managing engagements like wireless security audits, network and firewall security reviews, OS and infrastructure audits, API security, DLP audits, ransomware audits, etc.
  • Familiarity with the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) and other vulnerability management databases (e.g., CVE).
  • Knowledge and experience with information security standards (ISO 27001), governance frameworks (COBIT, NIST), and regulatory compliance (SOX, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.).
  • Knowledge of controls, automation, and continuous monitoring practices.
  • Familiarity with key AI fundamentals such as machine learning, data patterns, and predictive modeling.
  • Ability to evaluate and interpret the impact of AI technologies on risk management practices and security control frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Good project management, organizational, and planning skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet project timelines.
  • Good interpersonal, oral, written, and presentation skills; can comfortably communicate with all levels of management and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
  • The candidate must be a phenomenal teammate, self-motivated, and have a positive can-do demeanor. Ability and willingness to travel (approx. 20%).
