The opportunity
Being part of digital life is a given these days, and chances are you have daily interactions with multiple Adobe solutions behind the scenes. You are more than welcome in our group of engineers who are reshaping the way global customers shop with their favorite brands.
In collaboration with a larger distributed team of product and engineering experts, we build new Commerce capabilities striving to deliver outstanding website performance, traffic acquisition, and user engagement.
In 2026, this also means building AI-native systems: products where agents, models, and humans collaborate in real time to deliver at a scale no individual engineer could achieve alone.
What will you do
-
Contribute to the Adobe Commerce integration with LLM partners and provide agentic shopping capabilities for the entire world
-
Build the next cloud-based, high-performance e-commerce platform
-
Develop core software components for battle-tested products or greenfield projects
-
Try out new things and run Po Cs that improve our products.
-
Create and contribute to engineering designs and architectures that can address real software problems or limitations.
-
Always challenge the way we were set to build products! Be ready to prototype, iterate fast using feedback and data, and restart as much as needed.
What you need to succeed
You treat AI as a force-multiplier, you know when to trust an agent, when to stay in the loop, and how to build systems that remain safe and auditable.
-
AI coding assistants: daily active use of Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar as core engineering tools. Not just for autocomplete, but for full-feature development, code review, architecture exploration, and test generation
-
Multi-agent orchestration: experience decomposing work across agents, managing agent-to-agent communication, tool calling, and using frameworks such as Lang Graph, CrewAI, Auto Gen, or similar
-
LLM API integration: Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini: streaming, function calling, structured outputs, and cost/latency management
-
Nice to have: evaluation and testing, designing evals, measuring agent accuracy, catching regressions in LLM-powered features
Technical Skills:
-
Frontend development using React, Tailwind
-
Ready to build reliable backend services using Python or Node.js development concepts and practices
-
Proven understanding of OOP, Functional Programming, software lifecycle, and source control tools
-
APIs: RESTful, GraphQL
-
Experience working with Kubernetes container orchestration
-
Hands-on experience with major cloud providers
-
Knowledge in both building and operating a service: CI/CD deployments, monitoring and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus), infrastructure as code and provisioning tools
-
Prior knowledge of Commerce development is a huge plus.
