Role Description

Adobe Advertising is evolving to deliver agentic experiences that simplify workflows. We’re hiring a senior engineer to own testing of known systems, automation frameworks, and end‑to‑end system validation. You will build the tooling and test infrastructure that ensures reliability, performance, and quality across complex distributed systems.

What You’ll Do

• Own end‑to‑end system test strategy, execution, and release sign‑off.
• Build test frameworks known for their use of deep knowledge of system internals.
• Build and implement automation tooling for APIs, services, and UI flows.
• Build reusable test harnesses, simulators, and stubs for system dependencies.
• Drive integration, regression, and non‑functional testing (latency, scale, resiliency).
• Implement CI/CD test pipelines and quality gates across environments.
• Analyze failures, triage defects, and improve system observability.
• Collaborate with product, platform, SRE, and engineering teams on quality plans.
• Mentor team members and champion a quality‑first engineering culture.

What You Bring

• 5-8 years of experience in system testing, automation, or tooling engineering.
• Strong skills in testing known systems and ability to test complex architectures.
• Hands‑on experience building automation frameworks (Python, Playwright/Selenium/BDD).
• Proven work on API, integration, and distributed system testing.
• Solid system build and debugging skills; comfortable with ambiguity.
• CI/CD experience and infrastructure knowledge (Docker/Kubernetes preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work together across various functions.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to GenAI/LLM evaluation techniques, timely testing, or RAG validation.
• Experience with Langfuse, Lang Smith, or AWS Bedrock evaluations.
• Observability/telemetry and experiment analytics experience.
• Prior work on internal developer platforms or tooling.
