Summary:

As a Software Development Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that involve analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across various clients. In your role as Procedure Expert, you are supporting the delivery of robust, downtime optimized, and highly automated lifecycle management activities operated within ECS with the help of SPC tool. SAP Basis Procedure Expert needs the skill set required to support a range of SAP systems including ABAP, Java stack, Non-Net Weaver systems. The associate would be responsible to Plan / Validate / Maintain the Procedures according to the ECS standard and sometimes non-standard procedures as requested by the stakeholder.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME and understanding of ECS Architecture is a must
• Monitor the Procedure execution and identify the task errors and reason
• Get feedback from Delivery Team, SEO and Service Owners and identify scope of Procedure enhancement.
• Prepare and maintain the Task failure analysis report and track First time Success Rate .
• Propose solution and suggest modification in Procedure by discussing with PO s.
• Drive the procedure enhancement by coordinate with developers / SEO / PO / Developer.
• Coordinate with developers and support them with required inputs.
• Support Delivery colleagues in case of Procedure failure and propose immediate work around.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Knowledge of ECS support tools
• LVM, SPC, JIRA, CRT, Customer Launch Pad, Service Now, TIC and Etc.
• Strong SAP BASIS and system operations know-how, ideally in multi-cloud environment
• Best practices experience in an SAP application / technology / solution (Net Weaver)
• Sound knowledge of BASIS activities like System Installations, Client Administration, System Refresh/Copy, and application update/upgrades.
• Professional experience in Cloud infrastructure, system administration or as a technical consultant in SAP cloud implementation & migration projects.
• Knowledge in design and structuring of integrated E2E Lifecycle Management Procedures.
• Good knowledge on OS, Database & Infrastructure (AWS,Azure,GCP) would be an added advantage.

Additional Information:

• Minimum 6 years of SAP Technical Administration with SAP BASIS skills and should have knowledge & experience on Administration, monitoring and Operations of SAP solutions.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
