Summary:

As a Salesforce Data Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures using Salesforce Data Cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define data strategies, ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems, and deliver solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.
Your role will involve leading data architecture discussions, optimizing data flows, and leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities to enable unified customer profiles, real-time insights, and intelligent decision-making. You will also guide development teams and ensure architectural integrity throughout the data lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

-Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Salesforce Data Cloud architecture and data strategy.
-Lead the design and implementation of data models, data flows, and integration patterns across multiple systems.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
    -Architect solutions that support real-time data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, and activation.
    -Ensure data architecture aligns with performance, scalability, security, and compliance standards.
    -Work closely with client technical teams to finalize strategies for data onboarding, transformation, and activation.
    -Guide development teams in implementing data pipelines, connectors, and APIs using Salesforce Data Cloud.
    -Define and manage data governance processes, including data quality, lineage, and metadata management.
    -Oversee deployment and release management for data-related components across environments.
    -Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity, latency, and system performance.
    -Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data integration and transformation workflows.
    -Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to promote best practices in data architecture and platform usage.
    -Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance data capabilities and system reliability.
    -Support data migration strategies and integration with external data sources and platforms.
    -Maintain comprehensive documentation including data architecture diagrams, integration specs, and troubleshooting guides.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud, including Data Streams, Data Lake Objects, Calculated Insights, and Activation Targets.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture principles, including ETL/ELT, real-time data processing, and data modeling.
  • Experience with identity resolution, customer 360, and data harmonization strategies.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CDP, Mule Soft, APIs (REST/SOAP), and integration frameworks.
  • Good to have: Life science Industry experience
    -Familiarity with data governance, security best practices, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
    -Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and release automation for data components.
    -Ability to design and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure data solutions.

  • The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Salesforce Technical Architecture.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
