Job DescriptionSAP professionals design, implement, and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals. They maintain expertise in SAP application process design and configuration, application development, integration, testing, deployment, and technical architecture.

SAP Procurement Functional Consultant – Quality professionals lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP solutions related to Quality Management and Procurement. This role is critical in delivering optimized, high-performing solutions tailored to client needs across multiple teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesA professional at this position level within Accenture is expected to:

• Adapt existing methods and procedures to develop alternative solutions to moderately complex issues
• Understand the strategic direction set by senior management in alignment with team goals
• Exercise sound judgment to identify solutions while seeking guidance on complex issues
• Engage primarily with their direct supervisor and may interact with client stakeholders and other internal teams
• Make decisions that impact their own team and influence decisions across other teams
• Lead and mentor small teams or workstreams at a client site or within Accenture

Role-Specific Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Quality Management (QM)
• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP QM and MM applications
• Collaborate with multiple teams to provide strategic input and solutions to project challenges
• Act as the primary point of contact for functional design and application configuration
• Conduct regular quality assessments to ensure compliance with standards
• Develop strategies to improve application performance and ensure seamless procurement processes
• Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement efforts
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and align solutions with business objectives
• Stay informed on emerging SAP technologies and best practices

Qualifications Align with the demand’s specific requirements. Example:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6 to 10 years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant with specialization in Quality Management and Procurement
• Proven end-to-end implementation experience in SAP QM and MM modules
• Relevant SAP certifications are a strong advantage
