Responsibilities:

• Define and govern enterprise, solution, and domain architecture strategies

• Own architectural principles, standards, and reference architectures

• Lead and mentor solution and enterprise architects across teams

• Review and approve major system designs, integrations, and technology selections

• Balance scalability, security, performance, cost, and delivery speed in architecture decisions

• Partner with engineering, security, product, and infrastructure leaders to align execution with architecture

• Drive modernization initiatives (cloud adoption, legacy transformation, platform consolidation)

• Identify and manage architectural risk, technical debt, and long-term sustainability

• Translate business strategy into clear, actionable technical roadmaps

• Present architecture decisions and tradeoffs to senior leadership and executives

• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational requirements

• 10+ years in software, systems, or infrastructure architecture

• 3+ years leading architects or senior technical leaders

• Proven experience designing and governing large-scale, distributed systems

• Strong background in cloud, on-prem, or hybrid architectures

• Deep understanding of integration patterns, APIs, data architectures, and platform design

• Ability to make hard tradeoffs and defend decisions with facts, not opinions

• Strong executive communication skills: clear, concise, and credible
