What would you do? Accenture is seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Operations Associate Manager – Global Network & Planning & Optimization with strong expertise in building, maintaining, and optimizing the supply chain network and planning parameters under established governance, ensuring alignment with business-defined rules, while leveraging ERP and advanced planning platforms including SAP ECC, SAP APO (SNP), o9, and SAP FRICE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Network, Distribution & Deployment

  • Design and maintain supply chain network models per business rules.

  • Manage rule frameworks for distribution and deployment.

  • Ensure accurate and execution-ready planning outputs.

  • Lead analysis and support for network changes, including DC migrations and lane adjustments.

  • Assess impacts and support transition activities.

  • Planning Parameters, Safety Stock & Inventory Governance

  • Govern planning parameters for end-to-end distribution and deployment.

  • Oversee planned and ad hoc safety stock updates in planning systems.

  • Manage safety stock governance per approved policies and service targets.

  • Coordinate monthly statistical safety stock refreshes with data validation.

  • Insure safety stock aligns with inventory, service, and deployment goals.

  • Simulation, Scenario & Impact Analysis

  • Sponsor and oversee simulations and impact analyses for approved parameter and safety stock changes.

  • Assess and communicate impacts on fill rate, inventory, and deployment performance.

  • Lead multi-echelon simulations to evaluate service and fill-rate implications.

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support governance.

  • Reporting, Monitoring & Planning Governance

  • Own creation and governance of safety stock and fill-rate reporting.

  • Manage key SNP planning and post-run validation reports.

  • Ensure reporting supports monthly safety stock refreshes and planning reviews.

  • Act as single point of accountability for distribution planning performance and corrective actions.

  • Oversee design and delivery of SAP FRICE objects per approved specifications.

  • ERP Execution & System Operations

  • Oversee planning execution across SAP ECC, SAP APO (SNP), and next-gen platforms.

  • Validate standard and custom reports for planning quality and data integrity.

  • Partner with governance forums to implement approved changes.

  • Ensure deployment readiness through system validation and exception management.What are we looking for? Data Analysis & Validation

  • Oversee structured and ad hoc data analysis using SQL, SAP queries, and analytical tools.

  • Guide diagnostic and root-cause analysis to resolve planning and data integrity issues.

  • Ensure master data, parameters, and transactional issues are prioritized and resolved.

  • Business Collaboration & Advisory

  • Align business strategy with system rules, network configurations, and planning outcomes.

  • Support governance forums and advise during disruptions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • MBA or relevant post-graduate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Data Science, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10-14 years of experience leading global demand planning or integrated business planning (IBP) functions in Retail, CPG, or similar industries.
  • Proven track record on working with various planning systems (O9, SAP, APO, Kinaxis, etc.).
  • Experience leading, engaging and inspiring large teams of motivated individuals to achieve excellence in all aspects of operations.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Experience in multi-echelon supply chain environments.
  • Experience in FMCG or Cosmetics industry environments with complex distribution networks.
  • Proficient in SAP query development and data analysis using SQL and Excel to support validation, troubleshooting, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC, SAP APO (SNP) & SAP FRICE
  • Exposure to modern planning platforms such as o9 Solutions (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of SAP master data driving planning and deployment.
  • Advanced capability in writing SAP queries for validation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and Excel for analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Soft & Personal Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to reason through complex supply chain scenarios.
  • Strong ownership mindset as custodian of planning results.
  • Ability to clearly communicate scenario outcomes and trade-offs to business stakeholders.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across run-the-business and project-based environments.
  • Team leadership for small workstreams; ability to mentor analysts and coordinate cross-functional tasks. Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems
  • Typically creates new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures
  • The person requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or team leads
  • Generally interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture
  • The person should require minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams
  • Individual would manage medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
