Summary:

We are seeking a Team Lead Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) with strong handson expertise in Tenable (Nessus, Tenable.sc, Tenable) to lead enterprise vulnerability management and threat exposure reduction initiatives. The role combines technical leadership, vulnerability operations, and stakeholder coordination to ensure continuous risk identification, prioritization, and remediation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Vulnerability Management Leadership
• Lead a team of Vulnerability Management analysts and engineers.
• Own the end to end Threat & Vulnerability Management lifecycle across infrastructure, endpoints, cloud, and applications.
• Act as the primary escalation point for critical and high-risk vulnerabilities.
• Tenable Platform Management
• Configure, manage, and optimize Tenable platforms (Nessus, Tenable.sc, Tenable.io).
• Plan and execute authenticated and unauthenticated scans across enterprise environments.
• Maintain scanning coverage, schedules, and performance tuning.
• Vulnerability Analysis and Prioritization
• Analyze scan results and prioritize remediation using CVSS, VPR, threat intelligence, and exploitability context.
• Correlate vulnerabilities with active threats, exposures, and business criticality.
• Reduce false positives and improve signal-to-noise ratio.
• Remediation and Stakeholder Coordination
• Partner with IT infrastructure, cloud, application, and DevOps teams to drive remediation.
• Track remediation progress, validate fixes, and manage risk acceptances and exceptions.
• Support patch management and secure configuration initiatives.
• Threat & Risk Management
• Monitor emerging threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and advisories.
• Lead response to critical vulnerability events (eg. Log4 jtype scenarios).
• Support risk reporting and vulnerability trend analysis.
• Governance, Metrics and Reporting
• Define and track KPIs, SLAs, and vulnerability metrics.
• Prepare dashboards and reports for security leadership and stakeholders.
• Support audits, compliance reporting, and control evidence.
• Continuous Improvement & Automation
• Drive improvements in scan automation, remediation workflows, and integrations.
• Integrate Tenable with ticketing systems, CMDB, and SOAR/SIEM platforms.
• Contribute to vulnerability management maturity and roadmap initiatives.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in Threat & Vulnerability Management / Security Operations.
• Strong hands on experience with:
• Tenable (Nessus, Tenable.sc, Tenable.io)
• Vulnerability assessment and exposure management practices

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 8 plus years of experience in Infrastructure Security Vulnerability Management Operations.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
