Project Role: Application Tech Support Practitioner

Project Role Description: Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.

Good to have skills: Microsoft Windows Server Administration

Summary:

As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, your typical day involves serving as the primary liaison between clients and the systems or applications they utilize. You will engage with clients to understand their needs, ensuring that our high-quality systems operate seamlessly. Your role will require you to effectively communicate with clients, accurately identify issues, and leverage your extensive product knowledge to design and implement effective resolutions. You will be dedicated to maintaining the integrity of our systems while fostering strong relationships with clients through exceptional service and support.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

  • Assist in the development of documentation and training materials to enhance team knowledge and client understanding.

  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on product features and industry trends.

  • Must have Skills

  • Strong experience in Linux system administration.

    • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL).
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, file systems, and services.
    • Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
    • Apply OS patches, updates, and security hardening.
    • Troubleshoot system, application, and network-related issues.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.

  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, firewalls).

  • Experience with scripting (Bash, Shell, Python – preferred).

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.

  • Good to Have Skills

  • Azure Storage ,Backup and Networking

  • Experience in hybrid cloud environments.

  • Automation & DevOps Support

  • Collaboration & Support

    • Work with application, DevOps, and security teams.
    • Provide L2/L3 support and participate in on-call rotations.
    • Maintain system documentation and SOPs.
