Project Role Description: Define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals. Document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security-managed operations.

Summary:

As a Chrome Webstore Trust & Safety Reverse Engineering Specialist, you will extensively test browser extensions and perform dynamic analysis to identify malicious content. You are required to reverse engineer Javascript, CSS & HTML code, analyze functionality and network activity of browser extensions and apps in order to identify malware, spam and other harmful abuse vectors. You would proactively conduct analysis and investigations to detect badness in the webstore ecosystem, and propose solutions to eliminate them.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Reverse engineer chrome webstore extensions to understand their end-to-end functionality
• Trend analysis of snippets with violations to proactively capture bad actors
• Proactively identify new malware, spam and other abuse trends
• Provide proactive inputs/ideas to improve team s workflows

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Security certifications such as CISSP, GISP, and CISM
• Familiarity with HTML 5 - editing content within the elements, Web Fonts, Local Storage & form features
• Knowledge of CSS 5 with understanding of custom properties, layouts, selectors, keyframes, CSS transformations
• Good understanding of JavaScript
• Objects, Prototype in Plain, Variable Scope and Hoisting, Closures, Callbacks, Javascript this , Bind methods, OOP, List.js, datatables, plugins, etc.
• Two Way Data-Binding, the MVC Pattern, Dependency Injection & Directives Ability to create full scale frameworks using AJAX
• Non-blocking or Asynchronous I/O, Modules, Callbacks Anti - pattern code, webpack, compiler consumption

Additional Information:

• Expert in Javascript with 7-8 years of relevant industry experience (full-stack web development using JS, j Query, angular.js, web/REST APIs)
• 2+ years of security experience (strong reverse engineering and malware analysis skills required for the role)
• This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
  -B.E/B.Tech./MCA in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Strong technical documentation skills
• Good English communications skills (verbal)
