Project Role: Business Analyst
Project Role Description: Analyze an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology. Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution. Research, gather and synthesize information.

Requirement Analysis
Assess and clarify requirements with Product Management.
Estimate solutioning, documentation, and validation efforts.
Maintain deep functional knowledge, user processes, and end-user behaviour.
Functional Design :
Own the creation of functional artefacts including Feasibility Studies, Solution Overviews, Interface Control Documents, and Product Specifications.
Conduct structured walkthroughs with cross-functional stakeholders.
Ensure end-to-end solution integrity across applications and domains.
Validation & Quality Assurance:
Contribute to test strategies and review test scenarios.
Perform functional sign-off and prioritize incidents.
Support development and QA teams during implementation and validation, including triage and debugging.
Engage with PM, Project Management, Customer Services, Implementation/Migration teams, and customers.
Use data insights, KPIs, and logs to validate assumptions and inform design decisions.
Delivery & Planning:
Contribute to planning for deployments, pilots, and go-lives.
Track scope, risks, dependencies, and cross-team impacts.
Community & Continuous Improvement:
Produce clear, reviewable specifications aligned with PDA guidelines.
Participate in community reviews, share knowledge, and onboard newcomers.
Recommend process improvements and promote adherence to governance and API/data model guidelines.

Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate clearly.
Hands-on experience in Product or Business Analysis in a tech/product organization.
Strong ability to translate business needs into clear, testable specifications.
Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and SAFe methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Customer-centric mindset with strong understanding of user contexts and behaviours.
Systems-thinking approach with knowledge of data flows, APIs, and upstream/downstream impacts.
Quality-focused mindset with test linkage and validation experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for production triage.
Good documentation discipline and familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, and monitoring/log systems.
Organized and outcome-oriented, managing dependencies across workstreams.
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Nice to have: Experience in travel/airline domains or with Alt a, NDC, Reservation, or Inventory systems.
