Job Title: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to play a key role in shaping and evolving our Azure-based data platform. This is a hands-on engineering role with strong influence over how the platform is designed, deployed, and improved. You will use deep Azure knowledge to drive architectural improvements, increase automation, and raise the overall maturity of our DevOps practices.
The platform runs on Azure services including Databricks, Azure Data Factory, AKS, Event Hub, Azure Storage, and databases, with CI/CD and infrastructure automation built on Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment patterns using Azure DevOps
Lead platform improvements through infrastructure as code, automation, and standardization
Influence architecture decisions for a large-scale Azure data platform
Design and improve deployment strategies for Databricks, ADF, AKS, Event Hub, storage, and databases
Build and evolve monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
Set best practices for DevOps, reliability, and platform engineering across teams
Partner with data engineers and developers to improve developer experience and delivery speed
Drive security, governance, and compliance improvements using Azure-native capabilities
Reduce operational overhead by eliminating manual processes and improving resiliency
Mentor other engineers and act as a technical point of reference for Azure DevOps topics

Required Skills and Experience:

Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in a DevOps or platform engineering role
Strong experience with Azure DevOps including pipelines, repos, release strategies, and automation
Deep understanding of Azure data and integration services, especially Databricks and Azure Data Factory
Proven experience with infrastructure as code using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
Hands-on experience designing and operating container platforms such as AKS
Strong knowledge of observability, monitoring, and incident prevention in Azure
Solid scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Experience influencing architecture and improving existing platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-305, or equivalent
Experience with enterprise-scale or multi-team Azure platforms
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and streaming platforms
Experience working in data-heavy or analytics-driven environments
