The email Developer will focus on developing dynamic and statics email to be implemented in the marketing automation platform to ensure successful delivery of campaigns. Additionally, they manage issue workflows and timelines to deliver marketing campaigns on time; escalate any issues that may prevent on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • In charge of delivering and email development

  • Collaborates with Campaign Management to confirm feasibility of campaign plans and translates marketing strategy and requirements into business requirements.

  • Capture Requirements and develop Business Requirements Documents (BRD) for production team, requesting further defining requirements as necessary.

  • Provides support in peer reviewing and testing campaigns built by other team members.

  • Prepare Test Cases/Checklist for UAT phases.

  • Prepare and send proofs to the client.

  • Get approvals for BRDs and proofs. Ongoing communication with business and technical stakeholders.

  • Manages client and team expectations throughout delivery; manage risk and issue escalations related to the campaigns.

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Integrate tools and platforms.

  • Troubleshoot rendering issues

  • Understanding the differences between ESP and the Operational Systems in emails

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in developing static and dynamic emails

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • A developer background in one or more languages: JavaScript, SQL, PHP, Python, etc.

  • QA experience in digital marketing and software testing.

  • Excellent administrative and documentation skills.

  • Experience working in one or more Campaign Management Tool(s) which may include building and executing campaigns of varying complexities; e.g. Adobe Campaign, Marketo, Salesforce or Eloqua.

  • Knowledge about send emails using email applications or sending methods for different Campaign Platforms

  • Legal compliance for email campaign knowledge.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate project requirements, communicate project status, and interface with internal and external team members

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities and a high volume of projects.

  • Client service delivery experience.

  • Allow for flexibility outside of typical business hours for engagement with off-shore teams.

  • Advanced English written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Testing experience required. Developer experience required.

  • Experience across more than one Industry, e.g. Life Sciences, Retail, Financial Services.
